Flyers Wives Fashion Show

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors, models, and fans for making the Flyers Wives Fashion Show so spectacular!  The Flyers Wives strutted down the runway at the inaugural Flyers Wives Fashion Show, featuring styles by internationally recognized fashion designer Nicole Miller on Wednesday, January 18 at the Hyatt at The Bellevue.

Guests were able to mingle with members of the Philadelphia Flyers during the cocktail hour, as they waited for the fashion show to begin.  They were also able to bid on silent auction items, like a Four Seasons cooking class and a “Bed and Brew” weekend at Ommegang Brewery in New York.

A live auction also got the attendees ready for the show. Philadelphia Flyer Max Talbot even jumped on the runway to help auction an orange beach cruiser bike signed by members of the team.

Finally, it was time for the Flyers Wives to shine.  The Wives modeled looks from Nicole Miller Artelier Line Spring 2012 Collection.  Naturally, Flyers orange was a predominant color in the collection.  The show’s grand finale finished with a live rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory” performed by Flyers anthemist, Lauren Hart.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to reach out to our fan base by providing a fun event to help many terrific causes right here in the Greater Philadelphia region,” said Comcast-Spectacor Charities’ Senior Vice President Mary Ann Saleski. “Comcast-Spectacor is committed to giving back to the community that has been, and continues to be, supportive of the Flyers and the Flyers Wives.”
